London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Peace Alliance
The LBBD Peace Alliance (a branch of The Peace Alliance set up by Rev Nims Ubunge OBE) is established to promote peace, justice and good citizenship and also to reduce crime and fear of crime by engaging the local community in crime reduction initiatives. The aim is that people, interest groups and communities that may be suspicious of or hostile to one another can find ways to be united.
The LBBD Peace Alliance aims to provide:
a. A forum for leaders to facilitate networking among the various sectors.
b. A voice for the Communities and
c. An opportunity for information sharing.
